GRIZZLY CHIPS
The freelance project for Instagram commercials for Grizzly Chips Brand.
The video with 2D animated VFX commercial for "Grizzly" in Almaty, Kazakhstan. VFX is traditional animation of effects based on music beat, actors movements, emotions and story pipeline.
The style of VFX based on chase game of the bear. After feeling pleasant smell of new chips "Grizzly" from snowboard rider's bag, bear starts chasing game on mountain's snow.
The colors chosen based on associations of smell and actions. Yellow and Orange represents the smell of chips in the bag that follows rider in the air. Red represents bear's desire for chips.
The VFX animation was made in ToonBoom Harmony in mix media technique of traditional and cut out 2D animation. Compositing was finished in Adobe After Effects.
